John's paintings

With a giving heart, John C. Green has supported the Madison community for over 20 years with his talents. Throughout the years, thousands of dollars worth of prints and materials have been donated to community churches, service clubs, charities, and other non-profit organizations. By helping to raise over $3 million, John C. Green has led programs such as Lake County Pro-Pheasants and Ducks Unlimited to years of success in their continuing fight to preserve the future of South Dakota's wildlife.

In recognition of John C. Green's efforts, the John Green Art Studio opened in July 2002 with donations received by the Madison Community Foundation. Madison's Main Street is a proud home of the up-to-date studio where John continues his creations, as well as, a public gallery which displays many fabulous oil paintings and prints that he has created throughout the years. The gallery helps promote additional interest in art with an area that showcases the works of up-and-coming Madison area artists. Created to show appreciation for a giving heart and open the doors for future artists in the Madison community, the John Green Art Studio is striving to keep the arts alive.
